All Schools Calendar

ancient calendarEver wonder what is going on at all the schools? The elementary and regional school PGO’s have gotten together on Google calendar and created an All Schools Calendar for Amherst at http://www.arhsparentcenter.org/all-schools-calendar.

Juniors are advised to take the PSAT on Saturday, October 16, and to take the SAT test next spring. The PSAT is a shorter, practice version. It also serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship competition, for which only Juniors are eligible.

Money Needed for After-School Clubs

danceWE NEED EVERYBODY TO PITCH IN to raise the money needed to support our 30 after-school clubs at ARHS. For the 2010 - 2011 school year, the school budget again has no funding for after-school clubs.

The first day of school for all high school students is Thursday, September 2nd. The school day begins at 7:45 a.m. for 9th graders and 10 a.m. for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.
