You can purchase a subscription to the student Newspaper "The Graphic" and have it delivered to your home. Any donation over $25 will automatically receive a subscription, and additional subscriptions may be purchased for $10 each. Friends and family in far away places will love to read the news of Amherst Regional High School, and a subscription is a perfect gift for a recent graduate.
Join us at our first Coffee with Principal Mark Jackson today at noon in Room 13. Our topic is Technology at ARHS. We will get a chance to see some of the technologies in use at ARHS by our students, and a brief tutorial on how we can use Power School to access information about our student's grades and attendance. The coffee hour always allows time for general questions, and is a great opportunity to stay informed about what is happening at the High School.
On Thursday, October 20th, The Culinary Arts department will launch a series of African lunches to support the African Scholars Program. These lunches will happen the 3rd Thursday of each month. We will be traveling across the African continent to sample a variety of cuisines. On Thursday,October 20th, we will have food from Morocco. Below is the menu:$6.00 per lunch. Lunch will be served in Rm. 127 during all lunches: 10:06-11:36 am. Take out after 11:36 am.

Youth Action Coalition offers these arts-for-change programs for grades 8-12, allowing youth to explore issues affecting themselves and their communities through art forms such as metal work, murals (GUGD) and video (VV).
Our SCIENCE ON SCREEN Film Series is an unexpected pairing of current, classic, cult and documentary film with lively introductions by notable experts in science, technology and medicine. The second film in this series, The 1986 version of The Fly will be shown this Monday, October 17th @ 7:30.

This past year's wild weather has affected the area's pumpkin crop and we are having difficulty acquiring the needed pumpkins for our annual Enchanted Forest. We're hoping you can help us with a donation of a pumpkin or two. You can drop them off at the Center at any time, leaving them by the entrance.Thank you for your continued support in our efforts. Our children grow up very quickly, as members of the Classes of 2011 and 2023 prove in the video "Blink of An Eye". What never changes is the joy and excitement they feel in their daily triumphs - both big and small.
