If you haven't caught a Hurricane baseball game lately, it's a bit different this year. Behind the backstop, on nights when senior Kevin Ziomek pitches, there are 20 or so scouts holding radar guns.

Maria Geryk, Interim Superintendent of Schools, is pleased to announce that Michael Hayes has been appointed to a permanent position as Amherst Middle School Principal. Having been a recent candidate in a different community which was very interested in his candidacy, we are particularly pleased that Mr. Hayes will remain in our community.

On Monday morning, all ARHS students received a course verification form in their A-period class. This form lists the course selections for 2010-2011 that students made in February. These forms need to be signed by a parent and returned by today.
