For the 2009 - 2010 school year, Amherst Regional High School no longer will provide funding for after school clubs. In an effort to maintain school clubs ARHS parent/ guardians will be asked to contribute to raise at least $20,000 - the amount needed to maintain the 30+ clubs offered at the school this past year. Fortunately a generous donor has offered to provide $5,000 to match the first $5,000 raised through parent/ guardian donations.

ARHS families will receive a request for donations for the "ARHS After - School Club Fund" for 2009 - 2010 in the mailing that they receive in August. We are asking each family to provide a voluntary donation of at least $25 so that we can continue to have after-school clubs at ARHS. Let's meet the challenge and raise the $20,000 needed to keep after school clubs going at ARHS. We can do this!
