This month the Taste of Amherst food festival is composting its waste for the first time in its 21 year history!  Adult and young adult volunteers are needed to serve as compost coaches to help people sort their recycling and waste.   Interested in serving for one or more two hour shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, June 14-17?  Contact Susan Waite at 413-259-3049 or waites@amherstma.gov.  Volunteers are especially needed Friday and Saturday evening (6/15 & 6/16).  Help make the Taste's transition to sustainability a success!
