Amherst Cinema - Our local gem of a movie theater. Mostly repertory films. Be sure to check out Tabella and Amherst Coffee next door.
Cinemark Theater - The local cineplex at the Hampshire Mall in Hadley (5 minutes away). All the first run flicks (meh!)

Pratt Museum of Natural History - Wonderful renovated museum at Amherst College.
Mead Art Museum - Another Amherst College gem.

Eric Carle Museum - An awesome museum at Hampshire College.
National Yiddish Book Center - Great events at the YBC.
The Emily Dickinson Museum - Emily Dickinson's home with great tours.

Recreation
Tubing down the Deerfield River - A great time, just be sure to time your visit when the water is released from the dam upstream!
Norwottuck Bike Path - our awesome 12 mile rail trail.
Ice Skating at The Mullins Center - UMass has public skating!

Amherst Peace Vigil - Every Sunday on The Common at Noon
